Kanika was born on 7 Oct 1993 din Panipat, Haryana.

Kanika enrolled herself in Chandigarh's Panjab University to pursue LLb and also done Master of Laws from there.

Kanika won the Miss Continental title in Miss India Elite in 2015.

She appeared in many Punjabi music videos like Roohafsa, Viah, Crush, Tera Naam and Pagal.

She featured in Punjabi movies like Rocky Mental (2017), Daana Paani (2018).

She made her debut in Hindi TV serial Badho Bahu and Lead role in Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega at Zee TV.

Kanika is rumoured to be dating her co-star Nishant Malkani.

Recently, Kanika is the contestant of Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 12.
