Jolie handled her debut role in 1993's Cyborg 2: Glass Shadow, an exceptionally loose sequel of the 1989 Jean-Claude Van Damme film Cyborg.

She made her way to more rewarding roles within a few years of Cyborg 2, finding her first major success on television.

Jolie took a supporting role in TV mini-series George Wallace, for which she won her first Golden Globe in 1998 and nominated for Emmy.

Jolie won a second Golden Globe as lead actress in TV movie Gia.

Jolie won a third Golden Globe Award for best supporting actress in Motion Picture for Girl in 2000 and also won Oscar for the same.

Jolie has gotten acting selections at the Golden Globes, Oscars and BAFTAs for such films as A Mighty Heart, Changeling and The Tourist.
